The Captain Morgan Rum Distillery opened on St Croix in January of 2011 and as promised, the following year (2012) the Captain Morgan Experience Center opened to the delight of visitor and St Croix locals alike! The $5 million center features a small movie theatre, tasting bar and a gift shop for picking up your pirate swag. Below is a little sneak peak of the tour from the opening ceremonies. You’ll find the Diageo Captain Morgan Distillery off of the Melvin Elvins Highway at the intersection between the Home Depot and the Henry Rohlson Airport.

Tour fee includes 1 hour tour and 2 complimentary drinks in the tasting room.
Hint: Take the Captain Morgan Tour first, then drive up the road to the Cruzan Rum Factory Tour. By the end of the day you’ll be feeling good and will be a wealth of knowledge on all that is rum in the Caribbean!
