The 2016 Summer Games are underway in Rio and the USVI (ISV) has 7 incredible athletes representing our little island territory. Having a smaller pool of athletes vying for positions on the National Team means that our top local athletes have a better chance of getting to the Olympics. But don’t let that fool you, they still have to qualify in their sport to compete – so these are some stellar athletes who are clearly tops in their sport.

Because the Olympics use the classic Latin version of a countries name to create their 3-letter designation – The Virgin Islands Olympic Team wears ISV or Isla Virgenes.
